Hand Signal Communications 

This course discusses and drills accuracy in communication, how to use had signals, when and the appropriateness in situations. CHRI teaches “pre-communication” signals in order to indicate to the dog what our intent is for each other individually and for the team. The “what, how and why” is always the underlying theme of every CHRI course. This one is no different. Being able to understand and read dog language, in the moment, is critical to having the human helping to provide limits, “cap” over the top behaviors, and give appropriate guidance for dogs. Concurrently having the dog accurately comprehend your communications with natural movements that replicate intent, motion, speed, movement, direction and placement is of paramount importance in creating the best partnership with all dogs.

This course is extremely important to help provide the missing piece of communication efforts from the human. Each dog has an inherent understanding of movement, speed, direction, and placement. Coupled with exact hand signals that both mimic and represent those aspects, instant and accurate communications are created within this method. This is only taught, this way and to this depth, by CHRI within RBBM/RBT Methodology.
